About Contact Requests

This private site is not a government office. It cannot confirm whether a person is in custody, verify a release, retrieve an arrest file, change a booking record, or provide case-specific legal advice. Questions about the site’s content or links may be sent through the site contact route. Questions about a Houston County record belong with the agency that created or holds that record.

For immediate emergencies, call 911. Do not use a website contact channel for an urgent report, a safety concern, or a warrant matter.

Sheriff and Jail Records

Houston County Sheriff’s Office
306 South Marshall Street, Suite 1100
Caledonia, MN 55921
Phone: 507-725-3379
Records extensions: 4124 or 4126
Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Use the Sheriff’s records-request page for public booking, jail, arrest, and incident-record requests that the office can release. Include the person’s name, date, booking number or MNI when known, record type, and desired format. Ask for a fee estimate before chargeable work. The current custody route is the official in-custody page, not the private site.

City Police Records

Contact the city department when the question concerns the city’s own incident or arrest report. A city report and a county jail booking record can be separate records.

  • La Crescent Police Department: P.O. Box 142, La Crescent, MN 55947, 507-895-4414.
  • Caledonia Police Department: 304 East Main Street, Caledonia, MN 55921, 507-725-3889.
  • Spring Grove Police Department: 118 1st Avenue NW, Spring Grove, MN 55974, 507-498-2677.

None of the three official city pages used in the research displayed a public arrest log, booking-photo archive, fixed records fee, or published response-time promise. Ask the city agency which office holds the report and request an estimate where applicable.

Court and Custody Questions

The Houston County District Court is at 306 South Marshall Street, Caledonia, MN 55921, telephone 507-724-7002. Court calendars can change, and the MCRO system has public-access limits for some pending, sealed, or older matters. A booking number may not be the court case number.

For release, transfer, or escape notifications, use the county’s VINELink route. VINELink is a notification service, not a booking-photo or court-record source. For a warrant question, contact the sheriff or court. Do not approach another person based on a rumor or a search result.
